If you are in an accident and you are not at fault, you may be entitled to an accident replacement vehicle with the costs covered by the at fault driver. Not my fault car accidents shouldn’t keep you from getting on with life.

What does NRMA third party property damage mean to you?

Third party property damage means protecting yourself with liability cover. Basic level cover that covers you if you cause damage to someone else’s property. If you are the driver at fault, third party property damage cover will ensure that the other driver’s costs are covered (all of NRMA’s car insurance policies come with liability cover up to $20 million). Third party property damage cover ensures costs of the not my fault driver are covered – costs can include repairing damage as a result of the car accident through to accident car hire.

Does the at fault driver have NRMA third party cover?

If the at fault driver has third party cover, then as the not my fault driver, you will be coveredfor expenses incurred as a result of the accident – such as after accident car hire. This right to drive will have you back on the road as soon as possible. The Carbiz team, based in Sydney, will be able to help you as the not my fault driver.
