Be aware of tiredness

Looking directly at oncoming traffic is a natural response – but at night, the cars are likely to have their headlights on. Staring into their headlights may make you temporarily blind. It’s better to rather keep your focus to the side of the road, while keeping track of the vehicles and traffic around you – this takes practice!
